~ Pirate Fancy Dress ~
Everyone should dress up for a Pirate Party.
There is such a wide scope for improvisation and fun, whether you are 5 years old or 50.
We have a selection of dressing up ideas here or have a look at our pirate costumes and accessories in our store. Our Pirate costume range is for adults and children, boys and girls, from all ages and sizes.
~ Children's Costumes ~
Children's pirate costumes are really easy to make and you don't neccessarily need to buy one. The best costumes are home-made! Find some old trousers or shorts in a plain colour and cut off the bottoms with a zigzag edge.
Then you just need a stripey t-shirt, white, black, red or blue is ideal.
Finish the costume with a big leather belt or fabric sash tied around the waist. You can make accessories like earrings from large brass curtain rings and draw a moustache or eyepatch onto faces using an eyeliner pencil or face paints.
Finally, you need a bandana, made from any 50cm square of material or old tea towel. Paisley or gingham patterns look great. Find something in red, blue or black. Fold into a triangular shape and tie with a knot at the back of your head.

Whether you're looking for a quick fix basic pirate outfit or something a little more detailed, we have a wide range to choose from. Kids love it when their parents dress up too and we have pirate outfits to suit all budgets. There are as many pirate costumes for women as there are men, we have swashbuckler costumes and Jack Sparrow Costumes

We stock every pirate accessory you could need to accessorize your pirate costume. Our pirate accessories include pirate hats, of all ranges, shapes and sizes, from bandanas to Jack Sparrow hats. We also stock pirate beards, tashes and pirate eye patches, if you just need to add those finishing touches.
For those extra accessories, we stock pirate earrings and jewellery, such as pirate beads, medallions and gemstone rings. We also have Snazaroo face make-up and theatre blood, plus temporary pirate tattoos.
To complete your pirate costume, we have parrots of all sizes, telescopes, hooks, treasure maps and pirate weapons.
